Prayas SWS imparting vocational training of tailoring, knitting & embroidery to about 700 destitute women. Vocational training enables adolescent women to earn an income and build crucial life skills. This project will provide vocational training to Indian women in Faridabad who are striving to become self-sufficient and provide for their families’ basic needs. Vocational Training at Prayas Welfare School Centres
The society is providing absolutely free vocational training comprising of tailoring, knitting, embroidery & Beautician to poor and destitute ladies numbering around 700 at present. There is a provision of one free sewing machine to the trainees belonging to BPL Group after successful completion of the course.
Prayas Social Welfare Society (Regd.)-Vocational Training Provider
We have been given approval for Vocational Training Provider by Director General of Employment & Training (DGE&T) Govt. of India through the Director Industrial Training Department, Haryana Chandigarh. We are Running Vocational Training Courses (Basic & Advance) such as IT, Electronics & Mobile Repair, Beauty Culture & Hair Dressing, Garment Making & Tailoring, Personality Development, NTT belonging to the weaker section of the society at Prayas Welfare Bhawan, Sec-64, Faridabad.
This will create a new chapter in the working of the Society for providing employment/ self employment opportunities for the youth of NCR specially the weaker section of the Society
